Diageo is welcoming the return of the summer selling season—and the return of Smirnoff Red, White & Berry Vodka—with an exciting new consumer contest.
It’s Your Party (Pitch)
Like a fun version of “Shark Tank,” Smirnoff has teamed with some party luminaries to evaluate pitches from consumers to find the most delightfully epic celebration of America’s birthday. Pitches will have to pass through a gauntlet of stars, including LGBTQ reality television star and dancing queen, Alyssa Edwards; comedian, actor and life of the party, Nicole Byer; reality television star, real estate mogul and party-thrower extraordinaire, Ryan Serhant; and digital creator, dance aficionado and host, Megan Batoon.

The Smirnoff Party Pitch is the newest part of Smirnoff's ongoing “Welcome to the Fun%” sales and awareness campaign, and is putting Smirnoff’s Red, White & Berry front and center for a diverse audience of vodka consumers. The contest called for written pitches from consumers 25 years and older, explaining their vision for the ideal Fourth of July celebration and how they will serve Smirnoff Red, White & Berry vodka. Out-of-the-box/bottle thinking is encouraged in these submissions.
The Season’s Best Colors (and Flavors)
An independent judging agency will review all the submissions and select four finalists who will then bring each of their grand party plans to life via a video. Once those videos are complete, the celebrity judges will review them and select one lucky grand prize winner. Smirnoff will then take that person’s epic party pitch and bring it to life. The winner and a group of their friends—also 25 years or older—will then get to enjoy the party themselves. Three runners-up will also receive a cash award and some Smirnoff swag so they can also make their own party dreams a reality.
Best of all: Smirnoff will be sharing the most memorable moments, from pitches to panel reviews and the final party, on the official Smirnoff YouTube channel in the lead up to the Fourth of July.
