Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Goes on Tour

Summer is a sweet time for Jack Daniel’s this year, as the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Neighborhood Flavor tour hit the road again, bringing the Tennessee Honey message to consumers with the launch of a documentary series from soccer star turned photographer Ethan White, and a string of community cookouts paying tribute to the distinct flavors, stories and cultures of neighborhoods from across the U.S., according to a statement from Jack Daniel’s parent company, Brown-Forman. The Neighborhood Flavor tour put Tennessee Honey front and center with consumers, raising brand recognition and helping to drive nationwide demand for the popular innovation.

The local portion of the tour brought community cookouts to neighborhoods in five cities, engaging consumers with live music from local bands, a panoply of games and a selection of local flavors. Hometown bartenders created cocktails inspired by Jack Honey, and Jack Daniel’s also brought signature favorites like the refreshing Summer Honey.

Summer Honey
Ingredients:
1 part Jack Daniel's® Tennessee Honey™
½ part Midori®
1 part pineapple juice
3 parts lemon-lime soda
Directions: Combine all ingredients except soda in shaker with ice. Shake, add soda and serve in rocks glass. Garnish with orange slice.

Similar pieces highlighted outstanding groups and individuals at tour stops throughout the nation. White talked with Jerome Lamaar about fashion in the Bronx, and met with Dan Peterson to see how he is revitalizing the vibrant sports community in Venice Beach. He spoke with the Art Babes, a feminist art collective in Detroit, and showcased the cosplay art of Emma Loggins in Atlanta. White and Jack Daniel’s created a series of engaging video pieces to help bring Jack’s story to an audience beyond those who made it to the tour in person, and which will continue to tell the story long after the summer of 2018 is a memory.
