Celebrities. They really are just like us, in that they also love delicious wine, like those from our friends at Sterling Vineyards. And for the fourth consecutive year, Napa Valley’s own star winery, Sterling Vineyards, returns to television's most anticipated night as the Official Wine of the 71st Emmy® Awards Season.

Long known for its Always Polished, Never Dull lifestyle, Sterling Vineyards has earned a stellar reputation among the Emmy season’s own stars and will return to burnish its legacy as the wine of choice for televisions best and brightest.

We Are All Made of Stars

Founded in 1964, Sterling Vineyards has long been a driving force behind the ascension of Napa Valley wines on the world stage. The vineyards’ wines have an impeccable reputation and helped elevate California winemaking in general. It makes sense that a darling of California would earn the honor of toasting Hollywood’s own shining stars during the Emmy Season, culminating on Sunday, September 22.

Sterling Vineyards’ incredible wines will be on hand for toasting at the Governors Ball, the Television Academy’s official after-party immediately following the Emmy award ceremony and telecast. Attendees, nominees, presenters, and winners will be able to raise a glass of the 2015 Sterling Vineyards Platinum Cabernet Sauvignon, which Sterling released to retailers nationwide in November 2018.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is among the finest produced in Napa Valley, and is, according to the company, “the winery's newest expression of the depth, precision and intensity that is unique to the region, a testament to the craftsmanship of winemaker Harry Hansen and the winery's tradition of producing outstanding, varietally focused wines.” Other wines on hand include the 2017 Sterling Vineyards Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, 2017 Sterling Vineyards Napa Valley Chardonnay, and 2016 Sterling Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

And the Winner is...

Just like the television programs being honored, these wines are all available now, and they represent a peak opportunity for your business to score a win with wine. The Emmy’s will be big business this year, and Sterling Vineyards is poised to leverage the season. In addition to an ongoing travel contest run by the winemaker, Sterling Vineyards and their parent company, Treasury Wine Estates, are looking to translate Emmy excitement into an enthusiasm for wine.

As Brett Scallan, Treasury Wine Estates’ Senior Vice President of Marketing, recently explained, "Sterling Vineyards is honored to share in the recognition of television excellence and outstanding creative talent, and we look forward to toasting this year's Emmys winners with these exceptional wines. This year, in particular, marks the end of some of television's most esteemed series such as Game of Thrones, Empire, Veep, and The Big Bang Theory, making the evening even more special and giving us all the more reason to raise a glass in their honor."
