Winning big at the Oscars is a big deal and managing to pull it off more than once is a rare feat. Don Julio is nothing if not rare--the premium tequila just pulled off its second consecutive year as a proud, high-profile sponsor of the long-running, official after party of the Academy Awards, the Governors Ball.
Once again, Don Julio takes center stage at the premier Hollywood event, providing signature cocktails for the best and brightest in the film industry and prominently positioning the brand for the millions of consumers who devour the continuing coverage of their favorite celebrities enjoying Don Julio, the same tequila readily available at their favorite bars, restaurants, and spirits stores.
This year, guests at the invite-only event were treated to a couple of special live performances. First, while sipping Don Julio cocktails, attendees enjoyed a live duet of “Tiny Dancer” by Sir Elton John and Taron Egerton. But more importantly, the evening included a curated bar experience created by 2014 Diageo Reserve Global World Class winner, and internationally acclaimed mixologist, Charles Joly. The Oscars are a momentous occasion, marking for many artists the culmination of decades of hard work and dedication, much like Don Julio was the result of the life’s work of its creator and namesake, making Don Julio and the Oscars an ideal match.
For those interested in keeping the Hollywood magic going, Don Julio has shared the recipe to Rosella, the exclusive signature cocktail created by Joly and Diageo for the special event. Share it with your customers or add them to your menu for an added spot of glamour.
