Industry heavyweight Brown-Forman leads this trend. “Fueled by the success of ultra-premium brands, the North American whiskey category has been outpacing all other Total Distilled Spirits in sales over the last year,” said Brown-Forman Field Marketing Manager Robert Rixman.
Last year, U.S. whiskey production grew 7.8%, nearly reaching three billion dollars in sales.*** Woodford Reserve’s production and popularity is driven by its key ingredient - corn. All of the corn is sourced locally in Kentucky, including grain farmers from Shelby County and Woodford County. The product is then processed at the on-site hammer mills.
