As consumers confirmed again in 2016, it’s tough to beat a classic cocktail. A quick run through Business Insider’s “Best Selling Cocktails in 2016” indicates the top pours are heavy on the landmark libations. Making the list are the Moscow Mule and Tom Collins, a duo that headlines our first edition of a new series designed to bring you some fresh ideas on some familiar old friends.

“Mix Your Menu” will serve up three classic cocktails your customers know, redesigned in a way that will entice them to give the modern makeover a shot. This edition’s master mixer is Breakthru Florida’s Alex Alfonso, who currently serves as the Vice President for the United States Bartender’s Guild-Miami Chapter, and he’s crafted a cool update to these three concoctions: Moscow Mule, Tom Collins and the Paloma.
