This month, our forward-thinking friends at Brown-Forman released a brand-new augmented reality app to help deepen consumers’ connection with the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey brand, blending over 150 years of rich history with the cutting-edge technology of the future. 

Consumers can download the free Jack Daniel's Augmented Reality (AR) app right now from the iTunes app store or Google Play to experience the magic of Jack Daniel’s through gorgeous interactive audio and video content.

Augmented reality allows brands to turn consumers’ smartphones into handheld brand ambassadors, providing immediate, direct access and a clear path for delivering the brand’s message. In the case of Jack Daniel’s, that message is accessed by simply opening the app and pointing their phones’ camera at any Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey bottle. Doing so will open a new world of animations, voice overs, and a treasure trove of stories that bring the brand to life, illustrating all the ways that this more than 150-year old brand is so special.



One Neat App

Consumers will enjoy around 10 minutes of original, exclusive content, delivered through whimsical animations designed to look and feel like a pop-up book.
