Moët Hennessy Roundup: Winter 2021

Feb. 16, 2021

The idea of luxury spirits is thoroughly entwined with the name Moët Hennessy, from fine wines to cognac to scotch and beyond. We are proud to play our part in bringing these brands to market and to share the great work Moët Hennessy is doing to provide top-shelf wines and spirits to businesses like yours throughout the country. And just in case you missed it, there were a couple of big news stories for MHUSA recently.

Picking Rosés

As you know, the industry has been in a rosé renaissance for the last few years, which is why we are so excited to welcome Chateau d’Esclans wines to our portfolio of fine wines. Château d’Esclans, the place, is right in the heart of the area where most of Provence AOC rosé is produced, and the chateau itself dates back to the 12th century. Today there are 345 acres of vineyards, producing a wide range of grapes, including Cinsault, Merlot, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Tibouren, in addition to Grenache, of which some vines are as old as 90 years.

This storied winemaking hub produces a wide range of top-notch wines, and we are proud to carry consumer-favorite rosés like Rosé Rock Angel, The Palm Rosé, and Whispering Angel Rosé. But what makes these wines so special? The team over at Drinks Business explores the question.

We performed our own examination of Chateau d’Esclans in the latest entry to our Breakthru Beyond series. Château d’Esclans represents not only a world-famous wine brand, it is also an attempt by the owners to elevate rosé’s popularity and respect in the industry. Formed in 2006, the company has operated under the vision and direction of Sacha Lichine, who has had enormous success in putting the spotlight on rosé as a major player in the world of luxury wines.

Hennessy and Black History Month

Responsibility to our stakeholders and our communities is vitally important to us at Breakthru Beverage, as well as to our partners at Hennessy. Currently, Hennessy is supporting several different initiatives for Black History Month, such as the Hennessy Fellows program and the Unfinished Business program.

Hennessy celebrates Black-owned businesses through its #InvestBlack imagery, available for Black-owned businesses to use to promote themselves across social media.

The company is also providing direct support to Black, Asian, and Latinx-owned businesses through the Unfinished Business initiative. The program, in concert with One Hundred Black Men, the Asian American Business Development Center, and the Hispanic Federation, has already provided financial assistance to the first round of applicants. Meet some of the business owners helped by the program and see their success stories here. Businesses from the full spectrum of American industries and in communities throughout the country have benefitted from the support offered by Hennessy, staying afloat and prospering during these incredibly trying times.

It is a true pleasure to bring Moët Hennessy’s wines and spirits to you and your customers. Connect with us to find out more about the full portfolio of their products and how they can help your business grow.
