It’s been a big summer for U.S. soccer fans, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
The U.S. Women’s National Team just brought home their fourth World Cup title, an incredible accomplishment which is putting new focus on the sport. According to a 2018 Gallup poll, soccer has tripled in popularity in the last decade, and is tied for the number two spot among the most popular sport to watch among all spectator sports. Now, those people, and the millions more who watch MLS every season, will be seeing Captain Morgan on their screens and in person at games, tournaments, and other soccer events nationwide.
The Captain will be a fixture at games from now through the 2022 season, including the MLS All-Star Campeones Cut and MLS Cup games. In addition, Captain Morgan will be an official sponsor for five of the biggest teams in the league, including the Chicago Fire Soccer Club and D.C. United.
