Allied Announcement
Aug. 31, 2017
Dear Valued Customer,
Breakthru Beverage New Jersey and Allied Beverage Group have merged, effective September 1, 2017. As a result of this merger, Breakthru Beverage New Jersey’s associates and operations will now be part of the Allied Beverage Group organization.
As a key customer, we are committed to maintaining the strong relationship we have established with you, and we want to assure you that there will be no disruption to your business. At this time, you will continue to work with the sales representatives and managers with whom you are familiar on the same portfolio they represent. We expect to operate in this parallel manner for the remainder of 2017 as we integrate our operations.
You can also continue to expect the deliveries to come from the same location that they currently do and the same customer service team you have come to rely on.
When you remit payment, it will be to Allied Beverage Group. The remittance address will remain the same as the location that you had sent your remittance prior to September 1. If you are an electronic funds transfer customer and have any questions, please contact the Credit Department directly.
Please note that with respect to deliveries of product, while the West Caldwell and Trenton facilities of former Breakthru Beverage New Jersey are operating in parallel with Allied Beverage Group’s Carlstadt and Mt. Laurel facilities (until further notice), any returns for credit must go back to the facility from which the goods were originally delivered with a driver from that facility. Not only is this a legal requirement, but to return goods to the wrong facility could result in substantial delays that could put us in violation of the state credit laws. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
Please see reverse side for some Q & As that may help respond to any questions you have.
Thank you for your business and ongoing confidence.
Jeffrey Altschuler
President & CEO
Q: Which customer portal should I use if I have been working with Breakthru Beverage New Jersey?
Continue to use the ones you have used in the past for either Allied Beverage Group or Breakthru Beverage New Jersey. Use the same web address and same log-in information.
Q: Why will I continue to deal with separate representatives if you are merged?
As we go through a period of change, we want to ensure that there is no disruption to your service, particularly during the busy October-December period. By maintaining the routine you and we are accustomed to, we believe we will ensure the greatest efficiency. Our goal is to integrate our sales teams in 2018.
Q: Where do I send payment?
You will use the same information as before. If you sent payment to Breakthru Beverage New Jersey, continue to send to the same address that you had sent your remittances prior to September 1, however, the name will change to Allied Beverage Group. As of September 1, all checks should be made out to Allied Beverage Group whether you are sending the check so Carlstadt, West Caldwell, Trenton or Mount Laurel.
Q: Who is running the combined company?
Jeffrey Altschuler continues to serve as President & CEO of Allied Beverage Group.
Q: Which managers will call on customers?
At this time, you will continue to work with the sales representatives and managers with whom you are familiar on the same portfolio they represent. We expect to operate in this parallel manner for the remainder of 2017 as we integrate our operations.
