Canadian Rye for Canadian Whisky

Canada produces some of the best rye grains in the world thanks to its distinctive climate and Crown Royal selects the best of the best. All Crown Royal grains are certified by the #1 Canadian Western. Canadian rye grain is planted in the fall, sprouting until it's covered by a blanket of soft winter snow. Once this snow melts, the rye completes its growth, maturing over the spring and summer. This distinctive growth cycle creates the perfect grain for a deliciously balanced whisky, extraordinarily smooth with hints of fruit, cloves and spice. Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye is crafted from 90% Rye Whisky.

The Liquid

• 90% rye whisky. The same rye that is used to make Crown Royal DeLuxe.
• 45% ABV (90 proof) for more cut through in classic cocktails.

• Nose: Baked apple, Cereal, Light wood spices
