In what is quickly becoming a yearly tradition, Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin partnered with Harley Davidson of Milwaukee and Jack Daniel’s to raise money in support of the USO of Wisconsin. The second-annual ride, on August 27, brought Harley fans and bike enthusiasts from all over the state. Despite poor weather early in the morning, over 90 attendees on more than 70 bikes for the day’s ride.

The day’s festivities kicked off with a light breakfast, raffle and color guard presentation and a stirring rendition of the national anthem early in the morning at the Milwaukee Harley Davidson dealership. George Papachristou, Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin’s Director of Operations and an ordained minister, delivered a blessing and prayer before sending the assembled riders off on their journey.

Attendees also bid on many Jack Daniel’s items in a silent auction, as well as in a live auction at Old Town restaurant at the end of the ride. The proceeds of the auctions and the entry fees raised over $5,000 to support the ongoing operations of the USO in Wisconsin.

Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin is proud to be a part of the USO’s mission, and we look forward to another ride next year. Our thanks to Brown Forman Spirits, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Harley Davidson of Milwaukee and all our generous riders for making day such a success.
