Brown-Forman, William Grant & Sons’ Summer-Long Encore

Summertime in Charleston is not only the perfect venue for top musical acts, but an ideal stage for the alcohol industry’s top brands and suppliers to connect with consumers.

 

Brown-Forman and William Grant & Sons served as the exclusive spirits provider for the 2017 Volvo Cars Summer Concert Series, connecting every month with thousands of consumers in a moment they hold dear—their favorite artist’s concert.

 

“Music is one of the best platforms for activations in South Carolina,” said James Farra, Marketing Manager, Breakthru South Carolina. “Consumers look forward to seeing their favorite artists and we work to pair the perfect cocktail at each concert, such as Jimmy Buffett and El Jimador margaritas. This partnership between Brown-Forman, William Grant & Sons and the Summer Concert Series served as an opportunity to drive true 360 degree experiential marketing for our suppliers while reaching target demographics.”

 

In total, more than 46,000 people attended the summer-long set of shows, which included a charity concert from Hootie & The Blowfish that raised money to help thousands of impoverished elementary school students. Other acts that visited Volvo Car Stadium this summer included Jimmy Buffett, Collective Soul, Hank Williams Jr., Gov’t Mule, Third Eye Blind and Charleston native Darius Rucker.
