Breakthru Pennsylvania Celebrates StrEAT Food Festival

Springtime in Philadelphia ushers in months of great outdoor fun, starting with the biannual Manayunk StrEAT Festival and Restaurant Week. The April installment of the StrEAT Fest this year brought together more than 50 of the city’s top street vendors and food trucks to provide top-notch fare on Manayunk, while 17 of our own accounts posted a full menu of incredible drinks to complement the menu.

Over 40,000 people attended this year’s StrEAT Fest, indulging in season treats, sidewalk sales, music and live entertainment along the normally busy street. While taking in the sights and sounds, guests stopped by special Stolichnaya booth to vote on the top cocktail recipe and register for a chance to win a Stoli Beach Cruiser. Over 1,000 Stoli Passports were distributed, and hundreds of visitors showed up to vote for their favorite drink.

This was Breakthru Beverage Pennsylvania’s fourth year participating in StrEAT Fest, according to Sales Representative Maura Quinn, who also praised the consistently high turnout. Quinn kept her eye on trends among the crowd, too. "This year we featured the brand new Barefoot Refresh cans,” she said, “which were a big hit, in addition to some other great wines from Barefoot and Mirrasou."

In addition to those wines from Barefoot and Mirassou, guests also enjoyed yoga classes, 3D sidewalk chalk art, face painting and a moon bounce for the kids. In all, over 2,000 Barefoot and Stolichnaya POS items were distributed to the public, along with 144 cans of Barefoot Refresh, 22 cases of Mirassou, 8 cases of Barefoot and 14 cases of Stolichnaya.

Now that warmer weather is winning out across the city, and state, we will be looking for more opportunities to share our vendors’ great products with consumers throughout Pennsylvania.
