Breakthru Beverage Group Donates More Than 25,000 Food Items Across North America

Breakthru Beverage Group donated more than 25,000 food items to local food banks across its 14 markets throughout the United States and in Canada as part of its inaugural Breakthru Gives Back week last month. The company-wide volunteer initiative encouraged its 7,000 employees to unite together to make a positive impact in the communities where the North American spirits, wine and beer wholesaler operates.

Breakthru holds a steady commitment to the communities in which they live and work, and regularly supports charitable initiatives to make them the best they can be. Breakthru Gives Back week serves in addition to the longstanding community partnerships each market is proud to represent.   

“We encourage our employees to join together to make a positive impact in their local communities,” said Greg Baird, President & CEO. “We are beyond proud to have leveraged our scale to help address hunger needs across the country.”  


During Breakthru Gives Back Week, each Breakthru market hosted an on-site food drive where employees donated food to be delivered to local food banks, selected by the individual markets.
