The 1870 Committee is proud to announce the fiscal year 2018 inductees in the prestigious 1870 Society. Twenty-three associates across the Breakthru Beverage Group and Brown-Forman network will be inducted this year.

This year’s induction ceremony is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 4th – 7th at the Bellagio Resort and Casino. The induction ceremony will be held at Hyde nightclub at Bellagio on Thursday, October 4th and will coincide with the Breakthru Beverage Group / Brown-Forman Top to Top Meeting. Breakthru Beverage Group Co-Chairman Charlie Merinoff, Vice Chairman Danny Wirtz, and Brown-Forman North American President John Hayes will host the evening’s festivities.

ABOUT 1870 SOCIETY
In 1870 Old Forester, the first bottled Bourbon laid the cornerstone of the Brown-Forman Company. Over the last five generations Brown Forman has become one of the oldest and largest producers of North American Whiskeys. The 1870 Society was formed to honor this heritage and tradition.
Every year high performing Breakthru Beverage Group and Brown-Forman corporation associates are inducted into The 1870 Society. Induction into the Society is based on their commitment, passion, and the value of their contribution to Brown Forman’s Whiskey brands. Induction into to The Society includes a long weekend of recreational activities for two at a luxury hotel, an awards dinner, and induction ceremony at the annual Brown-Forman / Breakthru Beverage Group Top to Top Meeting. In addition, Inductees receive a gold ring signifying their membership in an exclusive group of sales and marketing professionals.
