Former Stoller Portfolios Marsalle, Laird and Company Join Breakthru Beverage Illinois

In this era of rapid change and consolidation, ageless values and virtues still matter. With that in mind, Breakthru Beverage Illinois is excited to announce that a selection of former Stoller Wholesale brands, including the Stoller family’s Marsalle portfolio, are now available for order through Breakthru Beverage.

The Marsalle Company is an importer of spirits and wine to the U.S., whose goal is to provide unique and profitable brands with the highest ethical standards in the industry. The company was purchased by the Stoller family in 1993 and Marsalle has since provided distributors, customers and consumers with some of most storied and innovative spirit brands from across the globe.

Among Marsalle’s successful brands are Hacienda Vieja Tequila, James Oliver Rye Whiskey, Little Brother Gin, Outerspace Vodka, Spirytus and UB Real Irish Whiskey.

“Since the Stoller family entered the liquor wholesale business some 30 years ago, the Wirtz family has flown under three different flags: Judge & Dolph, Wirtz Beverage and now Breakthru,” said Randy Stoller, former president of Stoller Wholesale. “Wirtz has been guided by three different generations of family members, with three distinctly different styles. The guiding light has always remained the same--solid and almost sacrosanct over time: honor, integrity and reputation.  In the final analysis, this is what sold us on entrusting our family business with Breakthru.”

In addition to the Marsalle portfolio, Breakthru IL will also be onboarding 10 additional suppliers who were previously with Stoller Wholesale.

The Pinot Grigio “Special Selection” is DOCG Friuli Venezia Giulia, one of Italy’s top DOCGs for the production of Pinot Grigio.
