Breakthru Beverage is excited to announce a new partnership with Uinta Brewing Co., which will bring the brewery’s award-winning beers into its Illinois portfolio. Illinois joins Minnesota, Nevada and Wisconsin as the fourth state in which Breakthru and Uinta have partnered together.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring a brewery with the capacity, quality and passion of Uinta into our portfolio,” said Jeff Roth, Breakthru IL vice president of sales. “The brewery is a triple threat, offering constantly great year-round offerings, innovative seasonals and eye-catching packaging.”

Founded in 1993, Uinta is currently the 40th largest craft brewery in the US in terms of sales and is one of the industry's most accomplished success stories. From a small, renovated mechanic's garage located in Salt Lake City, Uinta began distributing a variety of beers to bars, restaurants, and liquor stores throughout the city. Demand quickly escalated, resulting in the installation of a bottling line in 1996. In 2001 Uinta built and relocated to a 26,000-square-foot facility and in March of 2013, Uinta finished construction and installation on a 130bbl Braukon Brewhouse, outdoor fermentation cellar and 34,000 sq ft. packaging facility which houses Uinta's Krones AG canning line.

Since 2001 Uinta Brewing has been 100% wind-powered, becoming the first Utah-based company to reach this mark.  In 2011, Uinta installed solar panels on the brewery's rooftop, adding Solar to Uinta's renewable energy resources.

To this day, "Earth, Wind and Beer" remains a part of Uinta's branding, a constant sign of the company's long-standing environmental stewardship and commitment to producing excellent craft beer.

Details on the full line-up of Uinta beers sold through Breakthru IL will be available soon. Contact your Sales Consultant to stay up-to-date on current availability.
