We Salute American Anthem Vodka

May 3, 2018

For many, Memorial Day marks the informal start to the summer, with months of backyard barbecues, beach volleyball and the occasional sunburn. For those in the U.S. armed forces and their families, the holiday has a much deeper meaning, marking another year in the life of our Republic, paid for by the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform. This year, American Anthem Vodka is encouraging us all to give something back to members of the armed services, and they are leading by example.

According to their website, for every bottle of American Anthem Vodka manufactured between May 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019, the company will donate $1 to one of two military-focused charities: Operation Gratitude or The Mission Continues. The company has pledged to donate at least $100,000 to each charity. But, as the company says, “The rest is up to you,” because in addition to the cash donation, American Anthem is challenging individuals to volunteer and get personally involved in the missions of these two worthy organizations.

Thank You for Your Service

American Anthem Vodka proudly supports the efforts of Operation Gratitude, which has sent more than two million care packages to men and women in uniform to say “thank you” for their service. With the help of American Anthem Vodka, and other donors and volunteers, Operation Gratitude is filling care packages with letters, snacks, personal hygiene items, entertainment and other handmade gifts, and shipping them all over the world.

Packages make their way to active service personnel, the children they leave behind while on deployment, new recruits, first responders, wounded veterans and their caregivers. You, and your customers, can contribute to their work right now through direct donation, fundraisers, collection drives, and volunteering. You can also send a note right now at American Anthem’s website.

Continuing Commitment

Part of American Anthem Vodka’s work on behalf of our veterans means helping them thrive after returning to civilian life. The Mission Continues works to empower returning veterans as they adjust to life stateside, and to help them find renewed purpose through the positive impact they can have on the community. The organization provides the veterans with new, continuing missions to not only improve the community today but also inspire future generations to serve.

Through these new missions, veterans partner with other non-profit organizations and leaders from the community, engaging directly with some of the most intractable problems facing their areas. Mission objectives include impactful goals such as improving community education resources, eliminating food deserts, mentoring at-risk youth and more, according to organization’s website. The Mission Continues is currently organizing volunteer “platoons” and events throughout the country, open to veterans and civilians alike. Chances are, there’s an event coming up near your business that could use sponsorship or volunteers.

In addition to their commitment to supporting our veterans, American Anthem Vodka is also committed to making top shelf vodka right here in the USA, with the highest quality ingredients and exacting standards.
