Breakthru takes Third at Truck Driving Championships

For Breakthru Beverage Florida, June of 2016 will go down in the books as a memorable month for all things trucks.

BBG FL delivered an impressive showing at the Florida Trucking Association’s 2016 Truck Driving Championships. Top drivers from all over the state – 236 in all from 30 companies – competed in the championships. Drivers were given a written test on the trucking industry, safety, security, first aid, health and wellness. They also performed a pre-trip inspection test as well as a rigorous road test on a course of driving obstacles. Seven drivers from BBG FL entered the competition, with Ron Wiggs cruising to a third place finish in the Straight Truck Category! 

In addition to Wigg’s award-winning performance, BBG FL Director of Safety Tracy Linhart will be featured in this quarter’s issue of Florida Truck News. Tracy has been with Breakthru Beverage for 21 years and worked hard to make sure his workplace stays safe.
