Breakthru Beverage is committed to making the District a great place to live and work. Through partnerships with local charitable organizations, Breakthru Beverage works to improve the community and inspire others to follow our example. Throughout the year, team members work to combat food insecurity, beautify public spaces and provide joy for less fortunate families, among other initiatives. As we move into 2016, Breakthru Beverage looks back at the good work undertaken by our team in 2015.

In May, our team members partnered with Events DC to clean up the Anacostia watershed near RFK Stadium. Working with our colleagues at Cîroc and Diageo, our people spent an entire day gathering and removing more than 20 garbage bags of trash from the area, turning an eyesore into a welcome sight.

Breakthru Beverage Washington D.C. also took part in a food and clothing drive for Martha’s Table, a local organization founded in 1979 to create a place for children to receive free, healthy food after school. Since then, it has grown to support over 18,000 people each year through their food, education and thrift store programs with support from 14,000 volunteers.

These initiatives are part of Breakthru Beverage’s role in improving the Washington D.C. community. Contact us to find out more about our charitable work, our partners and how you can help.
