Breakthru Delaware Brands Take the Stage at Firefly Music Festival

Jul. 14, 2016

The Firefly Music Festival hit Dover last month for a fun-filled music weekend featuring renowned headliners including Kings of Leon, Mumford & Sons, Earth, Wind and Fire and Blink 182. In addition to some of music’s top talents, festival goers were treated to an impressive lineup of beverage brands to engage with, including four Breakthru DE brands: Dogfish Head, Dark Horse, Jack Daniel’s and Ketel One Vodka.

Dogfish Head

Dogfish Head was featured in a large tent called “The Brewery.” The breezy atmosphere proved popular with the hundreds of fans stopping by to cool off and enjoy a variety of Dogfish Head flavors, including special releases Bière De Provence, Raison Brett'ra and Alternative Takes #1.

“We had three different beers that sold out in less than three hours the first two days, and we sold out of beer on Sunday. We also had plastic growlers for sale which we sold out by Saturday afternoon.”- Kevin O’Connell, Brandywine/Christiana Division Manager

Dark Horse

Dark Horse wines made their first ever appearance at the festival and attendees took notice. Fans consumed over 200 cases of the wine, a number the Breakthru DE team says is a strong performance.

Jack Daniel's

With a prominent location in front of the main stage, Jack Daniel’s commenced their annual “Jack Daniel’s Experience” trailer for attendees to become immersed in the history of Jack Daniel’s. 3D googles navigated festival goers through a virtual flyover tour of Lynchburg, Tennessee, the home of the Jack Daniel’s distillery.

Ketel One Vodka

Ketel One Vodka’s VIP section provided a fun break from the summer heat, featuring shaded areas with water mist fans, ping pong and a custom Bloody Mary bar. Ketel One proved to be a big hit, selling nearly 400 cases, a huge number for this festival.

A big congratulations to all of the Breakthru DE brands for another hugely successful showing at the Firefly Music Festival.
