Wirtz Beverage Minnesota to Host Wine School
Jan. 6, 2015
Wine is a difficult category to master for even the most experienced accounts. From tracking vintages and growing seasons to understanding grape varietals and sustainable production practices, Wirtz Beverage Minnesota is here to help you grow your wine knowledge and become a successful wine seller.
Starting in late-January, Wirtz Beverage Minnesota will host Wine School at its offices in St. Paul. Held approximately twice per month, Wine School will be open to all on- and off-premise accounts with the aim of educating attendees on Wirtz’ diverse wine portfolio. Classes will be taught by Certified Sommelier Peter Plaehn and will cover a wide-array of topics, including growing regions, grape varieties, serving/pairing suggestions and brand heritage. Each class will also have a tasting portion featuring 12 wines from that session’s theme. As an added bonus, attendees will leave each class with one to two bottles of wine featured in the tasting.
Class space is limited, so contact your Sales Consultant to register.
