Red Bull Flying Bach Returns to Chicago
Sep. 18, 2015
Red Bull Flying Bach combines the classical music of composer Johann Sebastian Bach with the moves of world champion breakdance squad, The Flying Steps, to create a one-of-a-kind on-stage spectacle proven to entertain a wide range of consumers. Set to Bach’s "The Well-Tempered Clavier", the event returns to Chicago from September 25-27 at the historic Chicago Theatre.
Since Flying Bach premiered in Berlin’s Neue Nationalgalerie in 2010, approximately 300,000 spectators spanning 28 different countries have experienced the show. This year, Flying Bach returns to Chicago for a second year, this time adding a third performance to accommodate the show’s growing popularity.
Last year, the one-of-kind culture clash of urban dance and high society credentials was embraced by Chicagoans with open arms and welcomed by a wide range of local consumers, many of whom had not experienced the world of Red Bull before. According to Red Bull data, 85% of the attendees reported that Flying Bach was the first Red Bull event that they had attended, providing many the opportunity to interact with the brand’s culture and sample products for the first time. Of those surveyed after the show, 50% of attendees expressed a desire to attend another Red Bull event and 14% said they were motivated to purchase the product.
