Disaronno Partners with Italian Fashion House Trussardi

Just in time for the holiday season, Disaronno Amaretto is pairing with the Italian fashion house, Trussardi, to create a new limited time only package so beautiful it deserves its own wrapping paper. The latest iteration in the “Disaronno Wears” sees the venerable liqueur maker joining with Trussard to create an unmistakably Italian LTO for the 2018 holiday season.

“For years the Disaronno Limited Edition bottle has marked an annual highlight, referencing and increasing our brand’s visibility,” said Augusto Reina, CEO of Illva Saronno Holding, to Food & Beverage. “Disaronno is appreciated across the globe as an emblem of Italian style, and this year we are proud to make a particularly classy, elegant statement with a graphic design that fully reflects our perfectly modern essence.”

The Campaign

For the past six years, Disaronno has paired with a partner in the world of high fashion to create a new look for the iconic Disaronno bottle. Previous years have brought partnerships with brands such as Missoni, Etro, Cavalli, Versace, and Moschino. Each year sees the bottle become even more of a collectors’ favorite, with this year’s entry taking the tradition to a new level.

The Design

Fashion lovers will immediately recognize the elements of this year’s design, which features classic Trussardi textures and the brand’s greyhound logo, alongside the unmistakable shape of the Disaronno bottle, and informed by the brand’s values of contemporary style, innovation, and tradition. The design includes elements of fuchsia, green, and blue around the brand’s iconic label.

The Inspiration

Trussardi’s incredible design arose out of street art, according to the company, such as the graffiti and murals found on the streets of Trussardi’s home, Milan. Trussardi’s look is undeniably modern, influenced as well by pop-art, and incorporating the house’s greyhound logo.

The Event

At a special cocktail reception earlier this season, Disaronno and Trussardi unveiled this year’s collectible offering at an exclusive cocktail reception held at Trussardi’s Café Trussardi in Milan’s Piazza della Scala. The evening’s festivities fused fashion, music, and delicious flavors into an unforgettable night. For those of us unable to attend in person, the Disaronno Wears LTO is now widely available.
