Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin and the Luke Homan Foundation.Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin’s longstanding partnership with the Luke Homan Foundation has helped create an avenue to give back to several Midwestern communities.

This past February, the Luke Homan Foundation donated $10,000 to the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation during Feb. 17’s hockey game at the United Centera private ceremony that was attended by Breakthru Beverage Co-Chairman Rocky Wirtz, Nate Phippen - Breakthru WI VP of Sales, Mark Cirillo - Breakthru WI Director of Craft Beer, as well as Patti and Jerry Homan..

Patti Homan, a former Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin district manager, and her husband GerryJerry, lost their son, Luke, in 2006 and have since started a foundation in his memory. Their goal is to support the community as well as help fund some of Luke’s favorite charities.

The foundation’s yearly Golf Event fundraiser exceeded $100,000 in 2017 and it’s projected to break the $1 million total mark in 2018, a goal it has been striving for over the last 12 years.
