Hendrick’s Blooms with New LTO: Summer Solstice

May 1, 2019

Good news, summer is coming, and you will have the chance to make some big wins with gin thanks to Hendrick’s new LTO: Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice.

Flower Power

Summer nights are made for gin, but what about summer days? With Midsummer Solstice, Hendrick’s is delivering a gin that is ideal for “day-casions,” such as brunches, picnics, and other daytime entertaining, thanks to its floral taste profile and engaging flavors. Midsummer Solstice opens on the nose with floral notes that gently fade, revealing undertones of juniper and orange blossom. The taste is lush, joining the floral flavors with Hendrick’s unmistakable signature cucumber and rose finish.

Hendrick’s Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie—herself an avid gardener—took her cues for the flavor of this LTO from the solstice itself, when the taste and aromatic properties of flowers are at the very peak of sensory glory. As a highly anticipated small batch, Midsummer Solstice is expected to sell out quickly upon its official release in May. For those who do get a chance to experience it, Midsummer Solstice looks to be a hit with clear spirits fans, as well as cocktail lovers in general.

Pick a Winner

To help get ready for the Midsummer Solstice, Hendrick’s has helpfully provided three new signature cocktails to share with consumers: the Midsummer Spritz, Salty Dog, and Midsummer Mimosa.
