Breakthru NV Associate Picnic 2017

Breakthru Nevada hosted its annual Associate Picnic last week, marking another fun and successful event for the company and its associates.

With nearly 150 associates and 350 family members in attendance, the picnic was held at Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas. The picnic is an annual event to celebrate Breakthru NV’s associates and all of the incredible work they do.

"The annual picnic is a great way to spend time with employees and family in a fun and relaxed environment, and there’s no better way to show our appreciation to the hardworking people at Breakthru NV," said Scott Blazek, Breakthru NV Senior Vice President.

The picnic boasted menu items like chicken fajitas, hot dogs and cheeseburgers, plus cookies and ice cream for guests with a sweet tooth.

There was no shortage of entertainment at the picnic – from a live DJ, to human foosball and life-sized games including Giant Jenga and Giant Tic-Tac-Toe.

“I had more fun than anyone running around with a squirt gun,” Blazek said.

The fun didn’t stop there; guests were also invited to participate in arts and crafts and a creative contest aimed at encouraging intermingling. Select guests wore embellished hats, which associates decorated earlier in the week, and the first 18 attendees to find matching hats won a variety of prizes.

Guests who didn’t win prizes didn’t walk away emptyhanded, however. Each attendee received goody bags including beach towels and hats, plus Breakthru-branded items such as inflatable pool toys, collapsible water bottles and flexible Frisbee-fans.

Thank you to everyone who attended and who helped make this year’s event fantastic! We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year’s picnic.
