Barefoot’s motto is “Bringing people together. With wine.” What better event to marry that motto to than sponsoring one of the country’s major pride festivals!
The Capital Pride Celebration in Washington, D.C. begins today and runs through Sunday, June 9th, and Barefoot is proud to serve as a sponsor of this year’s landmark event. This edition of the celebration marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, which is considered to be the beginning of the modern day LGBTQ+ rights movement.
There are a wide variety of festivities planned for this year’s Pride celebration, including:

• June 6 – Rooftop Rally
• June 7 – RIOT! Opening Party
• June 8 – Pride Brunch
• June 8 – Pride Parade
• June 8 – Pride Block Party
• June 9 – Pride Festival and more
Barefoot will be on hand for all the events. Officials are anticipating hundreds of thousands to be in attendance.
Supporting the LGBTQ+ community has long been a passion of the Barefoot team, and supporting organizations like the Capital Pride Alliance is at the heart of who Barefoot is as a brand and as a contributor to the community. CPA is a very important nonprofit supporting the LGBTQ+ community and its partners through educational events, entertainment, community outreach, and celebrations of diversity.
