1 in 3 American adults are affected by heart disease.

Too many families are losing loved ones as a result of heart diseases, and the American Heart Association has been working tirelessly since 1924 to put an end to such diseases. In addition to the daily public health education that AHA employs to help improve the lives of all people, the organization’s “Heart Ball” campaign is an annual program that brings people together to celebrate the life-saving work of AHA’s donors and volunteers.

Several of our Breakthru Beverage Group brand and supplier partners are getting involved in the cause this year as “Heart Ball” sponsors to help AHA strive towards a world without heart disease.

“American Heart Association’s Chicago Heart Ball is an outstanding event that Diageo has very proudly supported year in and year out,” said John Bastuga, Sr. National Account Sales Manager for Diageo.

This year’s Chicago “Heart Ball” was a record-breaking success, raising $3,325,000 for the AHA, surpassing the previous best of $2,600,000.

Joining Brown-Forman and E. & J. Gallo Winery in supporting the AHA “Heart Ball” were Breakthru partners Diageo, Tito’s and Wilson Daniels – Infinium Spirits. Congratulations to our generous supplier partners for helping AHA in their mission to improving cardiovascular health.
