WBW SUPPORTS USO WISCONSIN IN FIRST-EVER MILWAUKEE CHARITY RIDE

Sep. 1, 2015

More than 85 people joined Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and Milwaukee Harley-Davidson for a motorcycle ride that raised more than $3,900 for USO Wisconsin.

"The USO is really important and a lot of people benefit, including my husband and son," said attendee Mary from Wisconsin.

The event started at the Milwaukee Harley-Davidson with a Silent Auction, Color Guard presentation, and words from WBW Sales Director Mark Cirillo, Medal of Honor recipient Gary Wetzel and USO President Dan Toomey.

"Our job is to thank military on behalf of the American people," Toomey said. "We rely on people and organizations like Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin to help."

Attendees then joined Wetzel and lined up for the ride—with around 60 motorcycles—which took them to Tally Ho for lunch and Old Town Inn for the closing of the silent auction and start of the live auction.

"We had a great time today at this amazing event to raise money for the USO," said attendee Kristin Luke. "It was a huge honor to meet Medal of Honor Recipient Gary Wetzel! Thank you for a fabulous day Wirtz Beverage, Jack Daniels, Milwaukee Harley Davidson and the USO."
