Deschutes Brewery's Street Pub Sets Up Shop in Chicago

Deschutes Brewery is excited to bring their pop-up pub of epic proportions to Chicago on Saturday, August 22, 2015. The ultimate craft beer block party, this 402-foot custom bar will be pouring beers from 40 taps in Logan Square at N. Milwaukee & N. California Avenue. At each of its national stops, Deschutes Brewery will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the Street Pub to local nonprofits. In Chicago, Deschutes Brewery has teamed up with the Alliance for the Great Lakes, an organization working daily to protect and restore the Great Lakes.
Not only will there be a huge selection of Deschutes Brewery beers flowing from the Street Pub’s multitude of taps, but there will be great food to pair with it. Deschutes Brewery’s corporate executive chef, Jeff Usinowicz, will be teaming up with a few local Chicago chefs to create some dishes that complement the many beers being served (think everything from the easy-drinking Mirror Pond Pale Ale all the way to the big and bold flavors of The Abyss).
This family-friendly event will also feature bar games for prizes, special samplings and a simply amazing live, local music lineup that includes Environmental Encroachment, Seafair and Hush Train.
This will easily be the largest craft beer event Wirtz Beverage has ever hosted so make sure to coming out and invite your family, friends and accounts to this one day only event.

Admission: The food and entertainment are accessible for all ages. Alcoholic beverages are for those 21 and older, with a proper I.D.
