We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Greg Baird Annual Scholarship Program. Eligible dependents of Breakthru associates are invited to apply through Monday, August 31, 2026, for an opportunity to receive merit-based financial support as they pursue their educational and career aspirations.
Established in 2022 in honor of Greg Baird, Breakthru's first President and CEO, the scholarship recognizes his lasting impact on our company and the beverage alcohol industry. Greg retired following a remarkable 41-year career, and this program continues to celebrate his legacy by investing in the next generation of leaders, innovators, and skilled professionals.
Each year, up to five scholarships of $5,000 are awarded to help offset the costs of post-secondary education, including tuition, books, housing, and other qualified expenses. The scholarship supports a variety of educational paths, including community colleges, four-year universities, undergraduate degree programs, vocational schools, and trade programs. Recipients are welcome to reapply each year they remain eligible.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a dependent of a Breakthru associate in good standing who has been employed with the company for at least six months and is not a member of the Executive or Commercial Leadership Teams.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student and maintain a minimum, unweighted, cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. An official transcript is required.
- Demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities and community service (strongly encouraged).
- Submit a personal essay describing their educational and career goals, as well as why they should be considered for the scholarship.
- Provide one letter of recommendation.
