Breakthru South Carolina Whiskey Portfolio Showcased at Whiskey After Dark Tour

Nov. 22, 2016

There aren’t many events of this scale where whiskey lovers can experience all of the flavors from around the world.

“This is a whiskey adventure,” described Tullamore Dew Brand Ambassador Tim Herlihy.

The “Whiskey After Dark: South Carolina Tour” poured its way through Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville earlier this fall. The event series served thousands of customers, consumers and trade over 100 different whiskey brands, proving to be a dazzling showcase for Breakthru South Carolina’s premium whiskey portfolio.

“Being out in front of this whiskey trend at an event like this is a great opportunity for our suppliers and their brands that we humbly get to represent,” said Breakthru SC President Sean O’Connor. “It’s a great way for us to engage with customers, as well as consumers.”

In addition to providing a forum for whiskey brands to make meaningful connections with fans of the spirit, “Whiskey After Dark” also raised money for two local charities that help make South Carolina a better place to live–Lowcountry Food Bank and the Black Pages Foundation. The Lowcountry Food Bank is addressing one of the most important issues today, as 1 in 4 children in South Carolina experience hunger. With help of contributions such as this charity partnership with Breakthru, the LCFB will distribute over 25 million pounds of food in 2016 to over 200,000 families.

Thank you to all of our whiskey supplier partners who helped make “Whiskey After Dark” a success, and for helping us support our local charity partners.
