Breakthru Beverage Group, Tito’s Team Up to Support Troops

May 21, 2018

During the early days of the Iraq War, Patti Patton-Bader would regularly send her deployed son care packages in the mail. However, when she learned that he was one of the only ones receiving this kind of support, she knew something had to be done.

So, in 2003, Patton-Bader founded Soldiers’ Angels, an organization that has now become one of the largest shippers of goods to Iraq and Afghanistan. With the mission of “May No Soldier Go Unloved,” Soldiers’ Angels provides millions of dollars in various kinds of aid, including Patton-Bader’s care packages, every year to hundreds of thousands of service members.

We at Breakthru Beverage Group are very passionate about supporting our troops, and along with our partners at Tito’s Handmade Vodka, we were proud to team up to support Soldiers’ Angels.

“Giving back to those who serve us is a cause we are honored to support,” said Kevin Dunn, President - East Region, Breakthru Beverage Group. “I couldn’t be prouder of our associates from Washington D.C., Maryland and Delaware, as well as our friends at Tito’s, for coming together to pack 5,000 care packages for the troops.”

Thank you to all our associates who donated their time and money for helping us support Soldiers’ Angels, and we especially want to thank the veterans that are or have been a part of the Breakthru Beverage family, including Joe Davolio, Mick Halbreiner and John McNerney (pictured).
