New Leadership Structure for United Division

The United Division has announced an organizational restructure.  Matt Wind has been appointed to the role of Vice President, Business Development United Division Diageo. In his new role, Wind will be responsible for all sales and marketing in the nine United Division markets that have dedicated Diageo divisions. He will continue to be based in Cicero, IL. 

Wind started his career in the beverage industry in 1993 with Romano Brothers Beverage Company in Chicago, IL before moving to Wirtz Beverage Illinois, which at the time was known as Judge and Dolph. He continued to grow his career there and was appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2011. 

In addition to Wind’s new position, Cristian Yanez has a new role as Vice President, Business Development United Division Moët Hennessy. Yanez has been serving as Vice President, Trade Marketing Moët Hennessy, and with this change he will have expanded oversight to include all sales and marketing efforts in the seven United Division markets with dedicated sales divisions selling Moët Hennessy as well as Moët Hennessy business in franchise states.  He will continue to be based in New York, NY.

Yanez joined Breakthru Beverage Group from Moët Hennessy USA where he held the role of Vice President Trade Marketing. Prior, he held other Vice President Business roles within Moët Hennessy USA and worked for LVMH winery, Bodegas Chandon, in his home country of Argentina until he moved to the United States in 2007. 

Both new roles will report to Kevin O’Neil Executive Vice President, Diageo & Moët Hennessy.
