Today, Breakthru Beverage Group has announced that it has reached agreements in Canada, with Ontario-based broker Peter Mielzynski Agencies (PMA) and in Pennsylvania with Majestic Wine and Spirits.
Effective June 1, Breakthru Beverage Group is a minority shareholder of the Ontario-based broker Peter Mielzynski Agencies (PMA). Breakthru joins majority shareholder William Grant and other partners including Distell, Gruppo Italiano Vini, and Peter Mielzynski Jr. PMA is widely respected and has a storied history in Canada as one of the country’s leading wine and spirits brokers. In addition to representing the portfolios of their shareholders, PMA has more than 45 suppliers including Jagermeister, Innis & Gunn and effective July 1, Brown-Forman will join this slate of suppliers.
In Pennsylvania, effective May 31, Breakthru Beverage Group acquired Philadelphia-based Majestic Wine and Spirits. With this acquisition, Majestic will operate as a division of Breakthru Beverage Pennsylvania under the leadership of state President PJ Horgan. Majestic Wine and Spirits has been serving Pennsylvania for more than 33 years.
