Breakthru Beverage Minnesota and Boston Beer Kick-Off “Pour One Forward” Campaign

May 17, 2016

On Thursday, May 13, the Breakthru Beverage Minnesota and Boston Beer Co. officially kicked-off Samuel Adam's "Pour One Forward" campaign across the Twin Cities.

During military holiday periods, Americans look for ways to symbolically thank past and present heroes for their service to our country.

From May 1-July 4, Samuel Adams is giving consumers the chance to thank local military heroes by "Pouring One Forward" and buying them a Samuel Adams Boston Lager.

Across Minneapolis, St. Paul and the rest of the US, when consumers buy Samuel Adams beer at any participating store, Boston Beer will donate a portion of the proceeds to American Dream U.

Also, when consumers purchase a Samuel Adams beer in an on premise account, then posts it on social media and tag it #PourOneForward, Samuel Adams will add an additional donation for each post—all in an effort to empower our country's military veterans and families in transition.

Consumers can also give back and thank a veteran themselves by buying an extra beer at the bar and writing a note of thanks on a Pour One Forward post card. Accounts will post the notes above or behind the bar and any current or former military hero can retrieve a Pour One Forward post card and exchange it for a glass of Sam Adam's Boston Lager.

Join us and the BBMN beer team in raising a pint of Boston Lager and saying thank you to our military veterans this summer.
