Breakthru Illinois Welcomes Terlato to Fine Wine Session

Breakthru Beverage Illinois’ wine team took a trip downtown last month to kick off their new series of Fine Wine Sessions, highlighting outstanding brands in the Breakthru portfolio, and they took Terlato with them. Sommeliers from some of Chicago’s top destinations dropped by for an evening of delicious food and Terlato’s Chateau de Meursault and Chateau de Marsannay wines, two gorgeous Burgundy properties.

 

 

Experts from the BBIL wine team were on hand to pour bottles of each label’s Burgundy Premier Cru and Grand Cru offerings. Fine wine specialists Matt Schneider, Jen Tietz, Sasa Sinanagic and Jeff Anderson kept the vino and conversation flowing while district managers Alex Peters and Cory Dohrman helped direct buyer conversations and discussions of the wines.

 

 

The first Fine Wine Session was a great success, and we look forward to continuing the series, with the support of key leadership figures Steve Lesak, vice president of sales, Ryan Thomas, sales manager, Brad Clawson, sales manager, and Greg Barry, director of trade development.

 

 

Following this inaugural event, Barry said "It's a great start to a series of sessions where we can engage the fine wine community in a relaxed setting. The caliber of customer and feedback from this event have both been extremely positive.”
