Grgich Hills Estates Partners with Breakthru Beverage in Maryland, Washington, D.C.

Breakthru Beverage Group is pleased to announce that it has formed a new partnership with Grgich Hills Estate to represent its outstanding portfolio of fine wines in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Opened in 1977, Grgich Hills Estate is an icon of Napa Valley’s wine industry. President and Vintners Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko “Mike” Grgich first earned world-wide recognition when the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay he crafted won the 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best of France and revolutionizing the wine world. In 1977, with the award in hand and his notoriety growing, Mike partnered with Austin Hills, and together they opened Grgich Hills Estate on July 4 of that year. To this day, Grgich Hills remains committed to making distinctive wines with quality, consistency and longevity.

Beginning in April, Grgich Hills Estates’ complete Napa Valley Selections of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Fume Blanc, Merlot and Zinfandel will be available for order through Breakthru Beverage.
